Say Their Names (Against Oblivion)

I memorized the names of over 500 protestors and civilians killed during the recent uprising in Iran, reciting them in a performance that used my body as a cradle of remembrance to keep their spirits alive. Recognizing the fragility and ephemerality of my own body, I found solace and permanence in a clay vessel. This vessel, a microcosm of my fury and grief, now serves as a refuge and an aural archive. It will preserve the names of those lost, ensuring that future generations can hear and remember them forever.
